"As a person with MS, I have horrible, painful muscle spasms from the waist-down. So much so, that it's confined me to a wheelchair. A friend of mine, and fellow MS sufferer, told me about the pain-relief effects of medical cannabis. Despite my initial skepticism, I gave it a try. While I find the effects not necessarily euphoric, it does allow me to stretch my legs out straight, either sitting on the floor or lying in bed -- it's a great muscle-relaxant."

However, all such petitions since the adoption of Amendment 20 have been denied.
